Anxious – “Bambi” LP
The second album by this Connecticut five-piece (formed in 2016 while members were still in high school). Melodic to the max. Maybe too much for some palettes – but, if you are open to big tunes, ‘ere-be some highly addictive rewards. Like Jimmy Eat World for a new generation (and deserving of equal popularity… which, probably, they will get, and pretty soon, I should think). 90’s alt-rock guitars and multi-layered vocal harmonies, with a crisp, modern production that captures and compliments their youthful, hardcore-adjacent energy.
